Dubai Fitness Challenge 2022 is upon us once again. Are you ready?

All you need to do is find a 30-minute activity every day for the next 30 days. By the end of the challenge you would have clocked 900 minutes of exercise!

The Dubai 30×30 Fitness Challenge is an initiative by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai. It is now in its sixth year. Its message is simple and yet powerful. Just 30 minutes of activity every day for 30 days. Hopefully, by the end of the month you will have made fitness a habit to be carried on for the rest of your life.

There are so many activities to choose from. Here are just 3 of them.


Yoga is an ancient Indian discipline that leads practitioners progressively through postures, deep breathing and meditative practices. When practiced holistically, it has a powerful impact on both the body and the mind. Among the many benefits of practicing Yoga are:

  • Helps build muscle
  • Improves flexibility
  • Enhances lung power
  • Reduces stress and anxiety
  • Promotes better sleep


Swimming is gentle on your joints and yet helps burn as many calories as a brisk jog. It is extremely beneficial in improving cardio-vascular health. Among the many benefits of swimming are:

  • Improves muscle tone and strength
  • Improves stamina


An excellent cardiovascular exercise option. Through regular dance sessions, one can build stamina and strength and yet have fun. Once again a very good cardiovascular workout. Its benefits include:
