- Prenatal Yoga
- Yoga & Ayurveda
- Yoga Darshana
- Hatha Yoga Philosophy
The duration of each program is 50 hours.
This course provides a thorough knowledge about the phases of pregnancy and the Yoga asanas, pranayama and meditative techniques suitable for each. With this knowledge, a practitioner can guide expecting mothers to safely practice Yoga with the aim of going through a smooth and easy natural childbirth.
Ayurveda & Yoga
Combining Ayurvedic knowledge with Yogic disciplines makes for an unbeatable combination towards health and vitality. This course gives students a better understanding of concepts of universal connection, the body’s constitution (prakriti), and life forces (doshas). These form the foundation of Ayurvedic treatments, and guide individual diets, customized exercise regimens, therapy and meditation.
Return to the very roots of Yoga by immersing yourself in an in-depth study of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras — a Sanskrit text that dates to 500BC. Patanjali is an ancient Indian sage believed to have compiled this text that now, by and large, guides the theory and practice of Yoga. In Pratimoksha’s Yoga Darshana program, a student gains a thorough understanding of the Sutras that underpin the 8 limbs of Yoga forming Ashtanga Yoga.
Hatha Yoga Philosophy
Pratimoksha’s Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Course takes an in-depth and scientific look at the teachings of the ancient practice of Yoga. It provides an extensive explanation of the importance of synergizing the solar and lunar energies. This is essential for the harmony of body and mind. Hatha Yoga is the path that unites and brings into harmony the masculine and feminine and focuses predominantly on the purification of the body that leads to the purification of the mind. It’s like the cleansing of a pot, with the pot being the body.
