RYT 500 Teachers Training Course Modules

Human Anatomy: Students are taught about the structure and functions of the body so that they gain a better understanding of Yoga asanas. This is also essential to learn therapeutic Yoga.

Yoga Philosophy: Under the guidance of our teachers, students are taught Patanjali’s Yoga principles and ancient Yogic philosophies and traditional texts that encompass the values, morals and duties that Yoga is based upon and which lead to ultimate happiness.

Yoga Asanas: The course is as much focused on practice as on theory. So students are taught and trained in Yoga asanas — standing poses, forward bends, backbends, twists, and inversions — along with Pranayama and Yogic breathing techniques.

Yoga Therapy: In this module, students learn to integrate Yoga postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to help heal the body, physically and mentally.

Certifications
